This spell is used to enchant a variation on a Portable Hole in the form of a window that will create a hole and glue itself into it. Despite the name, this spell can also be used to create self-attaching doors.

Portable Windows have a much slower disintegration rate than Portable Holes. It's 160 pounds per second.

Portable Windows sell for $200, plus the cost of the window itself.

The most common Portable Window is a lightly constructed, two feet wide, four feet tall, wood-framed and composed of two panes, the lower of which slides up. The glass is DR 1 and penetrating it shatters the window pane. This costs $243 and weighs 23.6 lbs.

The most common Portable Door is an average wood door with an average lock and hinges (see p. DF2:18 for statistics). The lock is of good quality, imposing no bonus or penalty to pick it. This costs $360 and weighs 48 lbs.
